چکیده :
Lean construction is a new manufacturing philosophy that is revolutionizing the construction industry. It is a method of designing production systems to minimize the waste of materials, money, time and effort in order to produce the maximum possible amount of value. Lean philosophy is all about designing and exploiting the right resources at the right time with the right systems. In the current trend of technology, lean construction has found its importance significantly. In this research, the analysis of lean construction methods in the construction industry of Tamil Nadu has been done with a special methodology. For this purpose, a questionnaire has been used to collect information and data from construction companies about lean construction methods in the main areas of Tamil Nadu, which includes defects, problems during implementation and waste produced during the operational process with It is encountered. In this research, a method has been developed to rank all the above criteria and reach the necessary results. In the next step, the collected data were analyzed in two categories, one by manual method including three approaches and the other by using software. Finally, solutions and suggestions for major problems to minimize waste are presented from the analyzed data and to overcome obstacles in the implementation of lean construction techniques.
